    AlfaOBD

Well that’s a bummer, with everything else you can do with AlphaOBD, figured this would be easy but guess not possible. I’ll just tape an ice cube to the exterior thermometer so it reads 32 degrees all the time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    AlfaOBD

Does anyone know how to change the remote start comfort system “start” temperature? I know it will auto trigger at 40 degrees as a factory default, but I’d prefer it to start at a higher temperature. I couldn’t find any other posts on this, or a obvious setting in AlphaOBD, but seems like...

    Adding Passive Entry: How-to

So just wanted to provide some follow-up on this. The issue did end up being the wrong door caps shipped from rockauto, they did not have the required magnets and therefore, the driver and passenger side doors were not functioning. As you can see from the pictures, magnet is the silver thing to...

Adding brake controller to Ram 1500 Laramie - Cost/difficulty?

I completed this myself, very easy to do in a few hours. Hardest part for me was removing the blank cover to install the actual trailer brake controller switch. I’d highly recommend getting a Bluetooth OBD reader and AlphaOBD($50) to do the flash yourself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Adding Passive Entry: How-to

I did not pry up the white and brown faces to unlock the terminals, however I did hear an audible click and there is no way to push them out, tried with a set of needle nose pliers to push them out today. Also, the pins appear to have the same amount exposed, so I am fairly certainly they are...

    Adding Passive Entry: How-to

So, took the drivers side door apart, confirmed the pins were in the correct location, and using multimeter confirmed that the wires were in the correct location. Any suggestions on how to test or what the issue may be? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Adding Passive Entry: How-to

Yup, everything else in the door is working (windows, mirror, locks). Was worried that it might be related to the wiring, guess time to get up close and personal with the door again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Diamond Black Crystal after a rain

I have the Black Diamond Crystal that I got ceramic coated. While it won’t come close to replacing the need for regular washing, definitely helps and as stated, looks cleaner after a rain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Loud blowing noise from passenger side vents

Exactly Luxy! Guess I’ll mentioned it to the dealer next time I bring it in the expected response of “we couldn’t replicate it” haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Loud blowing noise from passenger side vents

So was doing a 10 hour drive today with the climate auto set to 70, outside temperature was approximately the same, and randomly on numerous occasions there was a loud wind sounding noise coming from the passenger side. Originally I thought it was just that, wind, but started messing around and...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Finally had a chance to give her a good first wash a few weeks after getting ceramic coating. Results were incredible. Previous did the auxiliary backup lights, trailer brake install, and rain sensing wiper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ceramic coating, yay or nay?

Glad to hear that! I got the ultra so supposedly good for 9 years. I was going to just stick with the Gtechniq products or have the guy who did the coating do regular maintence washes. For the price I paid for it, definitely don’t want to mess it up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
