I'm finishing up the RideTech full coilover suspension upgrade on my truck. What fender heights do you guys have for a 2/4 lowered truck? I'm going to drive it around for a few days to settle the suspension before making the final height adjustments and getting an alignment.
I have a 2/4 lowering kit on my truck, I do not have the control arm relocation brackets. My question is this, what is the correct pinion angle for our trucks and can it be fixed with adjustable control arms or should I get some type of relocation brackets. I do not have any vibrations in the truck.
I was wondering if you had a chance to install the RideRech kit? I’m curious about the ride, but also the usefulness of using the truck as a truck? I don’t haul a lot of weight, but I do pull my boat a few times a year and get mulch and stuff occasionally.
I've installed a 2/4 lowering kit on my truck, and now I'm looking at several different relocation brackets. I know about the IHC brackets, but I would prefer not to cut the axle brackets. Ridetech will not sell the rear brackets without the coilovers, and I can't get a clear response from...
Does anyone with a 2/4 lowered RAM ever had rear-end bearing problems or failures? I do not have the control arm bracket relocation kit installed, but that should only possibly affect the pinion bearing. My rear end has a bearing failure on the differential bearings.
A little update, the wheels are Raceline Wheels and their required lugnuts. When the lugnuts sheared off, it was at the end of the splines leaving the seat of the lug nut in the wheels. The tire store drilled out the studs and in the process, they damaged a tone ring on the passenger side axle...
I watched them use a small impact driver, 3/8 size, and then use a torque wrench. It's been there 2 days while they try to drill out the stds without damaging the new wheels.
Has anyone ever had lug nuts seize up on their rims? I had four new gloss black powder-coated wheels installed with the appropriate lug nuts; they did use a torque wrench to tighten the lugs. The lug nuts are the deep spline drive lugs. When I went to rotate the wheels, five lug nuts snapped off...
Who uses hub rings on their wheels? The wheels I'm looking at have a hub bore of 106 and are lug-centric, but they do offer hub rings. Are they necessary?
I'm currently looking at several different wheels at 22 inch diameter, there are several different offsets that I'm trying to see what fits. I know the factory wheel is 22x9 with a 19mm offset. I have a 2021 RAM 1500 Sport and I'm currently looking at a wheel that has a -12 offset, the wheel is...
Does anyone have any real world experience with the 2 inch drop spindles from Belltech? I'm thinking of going that route to drop the front of my truck 2 inches and would like some real world knowledge or experience from their products on a current 5th gen RAM.
Thanks for the replies. I guess the same would be for gloss powder coated wheels? I'm more looking for the durability of chrome wheels I guess? I have an opportunity to purchase chrome factory style 22 inch wheels at a good price, they are not the PVD chrome, but traditional chrome. I guess my...
I'm looking for some real world advice on chrome wheels. I want some new wheels for my truck and I'm looking at satin bronze or chrome. I've never had chrome wheels and was wondering how difficult they were to keep clean and from getting pitted from brake dust and road salt? I know that powder...
I have a 2021 Ram Sport with the factory 22" wheels and getting ready to install the new Eibach Pro Truck kit. I want to run 35"x12.5 tires and know that I will probably need wheel spacers, but not sure what size? I do not want the wheels to stick out past the fenders, but know I will probably...
