BTW: today I was looking at old pics (pre 2R install) and just as I suspected the rear is actually lower with the 2R Eibach progressive spring than it was with the OE ORG rear springs. I'm going in for an oil change and rotate/balance soon and I'm thinking about putting the ORG rear springs...
Thanks Ready Go for your inputs. I'm running Falken Wilpeak AT3W that are a few years old (the original non-OE version) that are more aggressive. I kept my ORG stock set and I'm going to put them back on for summer back and forth trips and see how they feel. I say summer, but really just want...
I've got about 5k miles on my 2R setup now. Agree with comments about rear load. If the bed has weight, it definitely squats down and I get bright flashes at night due to raised front. But, in town the ride is way better than ORG. And, on freeway at 85mph ++ I can say that this setup is...
Chime in to confuse further: I have 25 Ram and expected TPMS would need to change due to electronics. I put 22 Rebel wheels/TPMS on (with 34.5") to test fit. The TPMS synced within 1/2 mile. Been months now, no issue.
No offense, but I'm still waiting for someone to chime in on this part number difference. TRX rear bar on non-TRX RAM? Just want to hear some thoughts, nothing against the OP
Has anyone put the Hellwig on with the Eibach 2R level/lift? 7709? Or did you use other? Curious if you use the "softest" setting or started in middle what the feedback is. Also, confirming Hellwig told me 7709 is the correct part for the 25 even with ORG, but has anyone used that with the...
I'm curious why you used the 7794 rear? That is for the TRX I believe and Hellwig told me the 7709 should be used for non-TRX. Did you get information from them?
Ok, so I've had a couple weeks on local roads, loaded and unloaded bed, and now drove across MI lightly loaded about 250 miles each way. It's really about getting accustomed to the change. The Eibach system at first seemed high in front, but it's the typical illusion. The bed cover and rails...
A little more experience and having moved some heavier stuff in the bed: the rear springs seem to compress more than OE ORG springs. Not a surprise based on reviews, but real world experience. I had the bed loaded pretty full over the weekend and the nose went up. I'll have to keep an eye on...
Howdy, I got the Eibach set from a retailer online for a really good discount. Most dealers charge $175/hr + but my preferred dealer installs for around $100/hr. So I go there pretty much all the time. They know their stuff and they protect for warranty/lease return when I want to take parts...
I got the Eibach 2R installed today. On the ground unloaded it definitely made the truck lifted and leveled. I went to Costco for some light purchases but had the bed loaded about 250 lbs and the back seat less. Ride was noticeably different. I'll say better, smoother than ORG stock. 55mph...
Appreciate everyone's input. I ended up deciding on Eibach 2Rs. I put my other set of wheels/tires on today since they hadn't been used in almost a couple years. They did switch from the TRX wheels to an almost new set of Rebel wheels from a 2023. To my surprise, the TPMS synced up without...
