I paid $1573 for the steps, but the price varies between dealers (sometimes quite a bit). That was the cheapest I could find within a reasonable driving distance. Small town dealer, they did the programming for free.

The ones you linked aren't a retrofit, they're a direct fit. You just bolt them on on, connect the wiring and have a dealer program them. I installed them on my '25 Rebel. Installation instructions attached.

I have a 2015 with the hemi and a 2025 with the I6. I'd take the I6 over the hemi everyday. The I6 is smoother and quite a bit faster than the hemi and it pulls hard way past any reasonable speed limit. It can be a little jerky under low throttle, but I don't know if that's an engine or...

These will not work without a dealer adding the sales code. Until then the truck won't know they exist and they won't get power. (I have installed them in my 2025)

I got tired of waiting for the AMP steps to find a solution for the 25's, so I ordered the OEM Mopar boards. Mechanically they're easy to install. Wiring is kind of a PITA. The dealership I ordered them through added the sales code for free. Overall I'm satisfied.

Thanks, Jimmy. I crawled under and confirmed. It definitely doesn't heat like my 2015. I noticed the other day that the trans seem very slow to warm up. Decided to test them both. The 2015 was parked outside, ambient air temp 18°. Ran for 20 minutes, trans got up to 107° Started the 2025...

Really? In what? The 5th gen, the 2025's, or in Ram's in general? The 4th gen 8hp70 had them.

Do they still have transmission heaters? On my 2015 Ram the trans was the first thing to come up to temp, on my 2025 it's the last.
