Yeah, I just don't understand how they arent paying. Why extend the warranty on them and then deny? That's why lying about the denial makes more sense to me.
Didnt want to start a separate thread. I had my rear window replaced under warranty (2020) and the dealer is telling me that Chrysler is refusing to pay the claim, causing the dealer to eat the install. Part of me doesnt believe this happened, but rather a sympathy ploy because they screwed up...
Sooner the better as far as applying. I don't spray everything underneath. I concentrate on the frame. Any openings in the frame/suspension. Definitely any welds that are accessible. Rear body fenders where previous gen rams were known to rust.
I've been using fluid film on our vehicles for a few years now. The last two cans were like snot and stay put much better. The first one was more liquid and dripped all over. I leave the film in the applicator bottle to make touch ups easy. It takes several applications a year depending on use...
Thanks for all the info. Did this update this evening and the update went great. Even used an old thumb drive that needed the correct format installed. Worked flawless.
Hasnt on the 5 vehicles I've put it on. I try to avoid spraying any exhaust components and engine. It will burn off as it's a wax based product, not oil.
