    spark plugs

I ordered spark plugs and the upper intake gaskets. Going to go ahead and order a set of coils as well. Don't want to do this job again if a coil goes bad.

    spark plugs

Has anyone changed the spark plugs on their 3.6 Ram yet? My truck is getting close to 100k miles. I got a quote from the dealership for $2000. I think that includes new coils as well, but still seems high. Guess I'll be doing it myself. I changed the plugs on my 3.6 Grand Cherokee. I know you...

Official thread for pictures of Ram towing campers

2019 RAM 1500 Lone Star 3.6L V6 Pentastar towing a 2024 Flagstaff 21FBRS. The travel trailer is 4470 lbs dry weight and 5837 GVWR. Towing it to Stephen F Austin State Park, the trailer was probably around 5000 lbs. In the pictures, the load leveling hitch still needed some adjustment. For such a...

I like your rig. We just bought the Flagstaff 21FBRS, same thing as your Rockwood 2109S. Bringing it home on Saturday. I'm hoping my truck does alright with it. 2019 RAM 1500 Lone Star 3.6L V6

New info on Gas tank fueling issue

Been having the gas filling problem again lately after getting a new tank and filler tube a year ago. After the new tank and filler tube, the problem went away for nearly a year, then came back recently. Scheduled an appointment at the local dealer. On the morning that I was headed to the...

    Spark plug HELP

I've done this on my jeep with the 3.6L V6. The intake manifold on that has a hidden nut and stud on the back of the passenger side cylinder head and another one on the drivers side on or near the exhaust manifold. Pretty tricky to get to. Search youtube for jeep 3.6 intake manifold.

Did Dodge change their warranties regarding etorque??

I actually called Ram customer care when I bought my 2019 and the maxcare package. Verbally they confirmed that the battery pack is covered. However, the contract is not specific in this area. I'm assuming that if the battery pack goes bad, I will have to fight about it. I'm equally worried...

What is the estimated longevity of the Pentastar V6?

yep. I think something is wrong with mine. Whenever I raise this to the dealer, they just say that's just how it goes. I think the cruise control is to blame. I believe the cruise control is too controlling. Whenever I use cruise, the truck has a slight shudder like something is holding it back...

What is the estimated longevity of the Pentastar V6?

Apologies. I didn't see this so I am late to respond. I'm lucky to get 20mpg with the truck. Usually it's lower than that.

New info on Gas tank fueling issue

Just an update. Since replacing the tank and the filler neck, I haven't had a problem at all with filling the gas tank.

How are the 2019's holding up?

52k miles on my 2019. Other than the recalls, my only issue so far is the gas filling issue. It's at the dealership right now for that. Love the truck.

What is the estimated longevity of the Pentastar V6?

I have a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 3.6 Pentastar. It has over 180,000 miles on it and still going great. I wouldn't have any problem taking a long trip in it right now. It runs great. I have replaced the oil cooler and had the lifters and rocker arms replaced. I think the newer engines...
