The connection point that was causing the rattle was at the top of the pillar close to where the airbag logo is. You could litearly move the whole panel in and out an 1/8 of an inch. Now after the replacement their is zero movement.
Update on my issue. Took my truck to the dealership and they inspected both of the Pillar covers and found that the they were both defective. The ordered new replacements and they have been installed. The rattle has now vanished.
I have the same issue with a rattle with bass I have sourced the sound to loose plastic cover over the pillars behind the driver and passenger seats. I do not know if other people are having the same issue but both of mine are loose to the touch, and I can place my hand on them and the rattle...
I just checked a friends truck that has a 2019 3500 and this panel does not move at all when touched. Just curious if anyone else has this issue with the their 1500. I know i have seen threads of people chasing rattle sounds.
I have my 2019 1500 Bighorn for less than a month and have had an off and on vibration sound playing certain music types even at low volumes. I think I have found the source of the rattle and was not sure if others have the same issue. The plastic cover on the passenger and driver side pillars...

Was wondering if there are any updates on the progress for the people who have started this process? Has anyone successfully got the passive entry to work ?
