The cheapest option I found is to install RV water filters on your hose. They last about 6 months but cost about $30 on Amazon for two. You still need to dry your truck after washing, but the water spots just wipe away.
I was thinking names in a hat! :p
@Paul B needs to post pics when he gets it installed. I've thought about the hard covers, but the flexibility with these soft covers is great for last minute/unplanned hauling. Congrats
This is definitely a safety issue that would qualify the truck as unsafe to operate. Lemon law should cover this. I'm not sure why they would delay repairs for a software fix that's not available yet, but parts replacement is readily available to fix the issue.
I went to my local dealer today and asked for assistance. The parts department couldn't help at all, and neither could the service department. I took my old bumper and was driving the truck, so they could see both.
So, I went home and got out the Dremel. 2 minutes and DONE!

I'm not sure what year TRX it came off of. Looking online, it appears ALL Ram truck have the same bumper frame structure that my original has. I haven't found a single video online that shows any special adaptors or differences in the TRX bumper from the Rebel.
I did ask Google AI some...
I need some help from the RAM gurus. My '21 Rebel was hit in a parking lot denting the rear bumper. I found a replacement from a TRX and started swapping all plastics to the new bumper. The last part I was putting together was the trailer tow connector and that's when I realized my connector...
2021 Ram Rebel, currently sporting a Truxedo LoPro. I've owned Truxedo for 24 years. I'd like to see what the TruXport is all about as I see them all over. This new cover appears to be tight and will do a good job of keeping water out.
BTW, this is what my truck does when it's not hauling...
I've had the Husky Liners on my Rebel for 5 years. They do a great job of keeping dirt and stone chips off the side of the truck.
The downside to these are if you put wider tires on, wheel spacers or 35" tires. You will rub on the rear of the wheel opening as these eat up about an inch. I...
Well, wouldn't you know it? Less than 1 hour after posting that my lights cleared, they came back on while driving to lunch. I thought about that before I posted and said I should knock on wood, but I didn't. So, my service forward collision is back on!!!
My message went away about two months ago and hasn't returned. I have no idea why FCW alerting wasn't working, but now is. I changed absolutely nothing.
