+1 on this.
In my case, the drivers side needed adjusting. When lightly closing (not slamming) the TG, I could tell the drivers side was the tighter of the two-it latched first.
I made marks to mark the original position and loosened it to move it in the direction of the arrow a very small...
On my 2019 Laramie, there is a white wire/tan tracer under the door sill plate in the back door, driver side. It provides power to the cargo bed light above the rear window.
I used that to tap into for led strips I installed under the bed rails. Suggest changing the cargo bed light bulb to led...
Thanks. I’ve got passive entry but sometimes I don’t have the fob with me , doing yard work or whatever. Not a big deal, just means I need to go into the house to get it.
I don’t have a top or cover so the lock seems pretty useless.

Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the tailgate lock so it can be opened when the doors are locked and no remote fob near it?

Thanks for the pic. I found that one and cut the liner to open it up. But yes, still clogs easily because it is so small.
There are also two in the corners that I was able to tweak a little wider wiTh a large flat screwdriver. This doesn’t work on the center one though because it is welded on...
Nice job-it looks great!
I have the 8.4 inch screen but I think yours should remove the same way. Very easy to do. Instructions are at the beginning of this thread. Once you have it out, you can remove the screen and the other switch panel to allow you to wrap the vinyl around. The only area I...
Well, I finally got around to wrapping gold trim on the floor console. For anyone else trying to do this, I thought I would explain how the pieces come off. My pictures show the left side – process for the right side is the same. If you’ve never vinyl wrapped before, there are tons of good...
My dealer sent the truck out pre-purchase to have a spray-in bedliner installed. I’m not sure if there are supposed to be drain holes at the front of the bed but if so, it looks like they sprayed over them. Now the bed holds water if I park nose down.
Does anyone have a picture of the drains...
Look at the fifth pic down in post #4 of this thread. It’s the plastic piece right next to the left center vent. It looks brownish in the pic but on my truck at least, is this weird goldish color that doesn’t match anything else in the interior.
Then there are two long pieces on the upper...
No. I’ll leave those alone. The wood doesn’t bother me-at least it’s a coordinating color. For the center panel, you’ll probably have the same issue I did. No way to remove just the wood piece from the rest of the bezel without melting plastic welds. I have no idea on the door panels-I’ve never...
Not too bad. It took me about 4 hours. And that was with a couple beers and a cigar.
My first attempt ever at vinyl wrap. Really not too difficult. Use heat gun and go slow.

I was able to wrap the vinyl all the way around the panel I’m all areas except where it meets the chrome bezel, so was able to get a good tight stretch. Seems to be holding tight.
No I need to figure out the lower console pieces. Has anyone figured out how to remove the gold trim from the...
