I use the Motorola MA1 and it does the same thing. If I don't unplug the dongle my phone will keep reconnecting to it from inside the house. The only solution (which I've yet to do) is alter the USB port to turn off power with the key.
Bummer but that's good to know. This page shows the shark fin internals. Getting rid of the shark fin antenna? I wonder what the fin piece is actually for, cellular perhaps? Seems like that could be removed and a flat 3d printed cover added lol
My 2021 BTS 1500 is about 1" to tall for my work parking garage. I was wondering if the puck antenna part 68328996AA on the 2500/3500 and 1500 classics will work on the 1500's. I think you lose cellular/gps but retain satellite. I am wondering if it would otherwise be plug and play and if anyone...
Just wondering if you got around to this. I also need to look in to swapping my antenna if possible. I was wondering if the puck antenna on the 2500/3500 and 1500 classics 68328996AA will work for our 1500's. I think you lose cellular/gps but retain satellite. Idk for sure.
Thank you for the write up it's very appreciated. I'm a little confused still as to how option two is plug in play with three connectors (the two you purchased and the one coming off the USB hub).
