If you experiment with it again I’d be curious if the digital key still works via NFC when it’s not detected passively. If you’re using an iPhone just pull up the key in the Wallet app, verify your passcode or FaceID, and tap the top of the phone in the same location you tap the backup key card.
Yeah, the interior color change may be playing a factor. It's an odd change, surprised they didn't make it an option. I don't hate the black interior, but the sea salt does feel more premium. Stellantis incentives may also be playing a factor. It's counterintuitive, but I've noticed in the...
In hindsight I guess I got luckier than I thought. This was from Fayetteville CDJR in TN. I had showed interest months earlier, and they reached back out. Told them where I wanted to be on it. There was a little bit of back and forth, but we had everything settled within a day.
Hi all, I bought a 2025 Tungsten a couple of months ago. Overall I'm pretty happy with the truck, but I have noticed a handful of small things and wanted to get opinions on reporting for warranty repairs. I'm pretty critical on this stuff, so it's good for me to get perspective from others on...
Lots of folks have gotten much more. Pretty regularly see $17-18k off. I got $21k off a Tungsten with a combination of dealer discount, employee pricing for all, and a $1k TDM code. It's also the end of the model year. I'd target between $70-75k for a $93k MSRP build.

Yep, Kia does the same, and for this exact reason.
Interestingly Kia also has a fingerprint sensor that can be used to start the car, but instead of using the app/sending a code they require both key fobs to be in the vehicle. Would be nice if both options were available so app reliance wasn't...
$5/mo would be the absolute most I’d consider for this functionality. Tesla charges $10/mo or $100/yr for their premium connectivity, and you get a ton of bang for the buck.
