Great tip! Definitely check to make sure you're clamps are properly engaged. Check that they're in the groove, and see if moving between the two grooves helps to tilt those up more.

For the hard folding cover, having the tonneau rail clamps over-tightened can cause those rails to lean inward, and that will prevent the latches from engaging.
