just to remove. after 5-6K Miles of heat cycles they are never just hand tight. And also no way to get both hands around the larger filter in the stock location.
you are proving why the relocation is a breathe of fresh air 😁. I have done it with and without and it sounds like you have only done it one way. relocation kit is awesome.
yes it just barely fits in the stock location, i couldnt even get a filter socket on the filter without crunching some wire loom and hardly any room to swing a socket wrench in there. Wasnt good enough for me and the pac brake relocation has been the best thing ive done on the truck.
It was such a pain getting the fittings clocked correctly and then getting all the fittings tight enough with such little space there. Have to get crafty with the wrenches.
My software update completed yesterday and now this morning i noticed the dash was on all night. Where it says "Press brake and push start". Did not have that problem before the update :unsure:
The adapter plate is held on by the center fitting. You will probably need to at least undo the middle hose to tighten it up more. It maybe wouldnt hurt to contact pac brake and get a new set of o-rings for the plate if that is the problem.
