I've looked at 4 fuses that seem trailer related according to Ram doco, but still haven't found out why my trailer break control harness port lacks power yet. I was able to tap into a 20 amp unused (seat warmer) fuse and get the controller working.
Knowing why I have no power to the harness yet...
I had the dealer activate the trailer package software on the truck, and now the brake controller can receive a signal from the harness when the brake pedal is pressed, that should be enough to get the Prodigy working.
Did you do a generic wiring install (tapping into things like the brake pedal sensor itself), or use the truck's built in 4 wire trailer brake controller harness? My truck's built in connector seems dead with regards to power and the brake pedal sensor's input wire.
I went to hook up an aftermarket (Prodigy P2) brake controller and have found that there is no power at the harness provided under the dash (specifically, the black and white wires from this harness).

With Maximum Care Vehicle Protection Plan, it only goes to 125k if I see the site right. Assuming the plans offered are money makers, and not losers, they represent a losing bet to the buyer of course, but I haven't heard anything specific about it.
They are shutting down the RAM 1500 plant today. I am guessing this won't help buyers in the short term price wise.

I'm going to order a 2020 Laramie with Black Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats. On the Ram build site, I don't see any stitching option choices... are there choices to be had? If so, where could I obtain a list/pics of those so I know what I want before I approach a salesman?
