K&N filters trade filtering for airflow. They are designed for racing applications where longevity is not important. No oem ever in history has used a K&N filter, for good reasons.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned, but I’m 95% sure that this is tire lube that the mounting shop slopped on your tires for mounting and didn’t wash off. Little soap and water will take it off.
