    I have never actually used up a whole set of brakes on any car I’ve owned. My GF however can run through a set of brakes in 20k mi.

    K&N filters trade filtering for airflow. They are designed for racing applications where longevity is not important. No oem ever in history has used a K&N filter, for good reasons.

    Is it normal for new tires to look like this?

    I’m sure it’s been mentioned, but I’m 95% sure that this is tire lube that the mounting shop slopped on your tires for mounting and didn’t wash off. Little soap and water will take it off.
