Have the truck back. It went into dealer, they claim it was the speed calibrator (inline) (confirmed it has no power draw) but still an issue. They also blamed the dash cam that was plugged into the USB below the radio (note those should turn off after an hour, confirmed with video that it...
Factory warranty is up. It's electrical so odds are I was out of warranty in 2022, and out of powertrain 400 miles before it went it. I'm sitting at 61k right now
Truck is back at dealer, they still don't know the issue but acknowledged it is an issue. Better yet, no rental or loaner available so we have been living with 0 or at best 1 car for 4 weeks.
Truck initially was dead / low voltage late July. Checked and there was a draw on the system even after letting it sit. 1.6A. Had it towed to dealer, they diagnosed it saying they had to pull 2 fuses to get the draw to stop. Those fuses coordinated to the dash cluster. They ordered a new cluster...
Couldn't find the culprit this morning after an hour. Tried the charger I have and barely got the battery higher, need a higher amperage charger. Tried to use the jump box I have and it wouldn't start after 3 tries. Used roadside and they towed it to a dealer. New alternator arrived after the...
2019 Bighorn, replaced OEM battery 2 weeks ago. Drove it normal as our other car just got tboned. Drove it over the weekend to help family move. Wife goes out today to drive it. Dead. Checked the battery 4.5V. Use a jumper with boost and it starts. Start to think it is alternator as V crept down...
Mine actually arrived today. Tow two boats a few times a year and random family trailers if needed. I got the 5", but I have a loft and larger tires which factor into that. I would have gotten a normal Reese but this gives me some options. It's more than I need but it's fine for now.
What about the mirror trying to over extend when it opens? Driver side was covered under warranty but waited a month for parts. Now passenger side is doing it but out of warranty.
Well it was surprisingly easy. This thread helped a ton. T25 torx screw driver, small plastic trim pry tool, small trim clip tool and that is all you need. Dealer ordered one wrong handle so had to wait a couple days but it's done. Looks much better.
