@RamCares Has there been any updates on the instrument cluster Theme reverting back to default after turning off and restarting the truck?? I have had the same issue. I have taken it to the dealer and all they say is there are no updates. Is there a star case for this yet??

Can you tell me how tall the truck is to the top of the shark fin with that lift? I'm not sure mine would fit in my garage with the 3.5" lift.

Same here. I've only seen this when I tested it to see if it actually auto corrected. Warning, If you have the parking break set to automatically engage when you put the truck in park the parking brake will not engage with the auto correct. Or at least that's how my truck works.

The funny thing is that Navigation is the only thing I have found that has a problem. No problem with voice command on music or phone contacts.

Prior posts in this thread provide you with options. Read through the posts in this thread to get additional details. I found you can use a USB drive and get all of the functionality of the iPod other than maybe playlists and volume leveling (I'm using a 128GB drive). The playlists are possible...

Thanks for the responses. I checked the other menu screens and they aren't like that. It must be the way they styled it. I don't like it at all.

Attached is a GM compatibility document. I assume that because the problem is with the change in Apple Accessory Protocol from iAP1 to iAP2 this should apply to our trucks as well.

For me the eTorq was too new and the savings would take too long to break even.

I searched the forum for this issue but didn't see anything about it. As shown in the image below I have a dark spot in the left center of the display under the USB graphic. Does anyone know if this is there by design or is this a problem with the screen? I don't notice this as I scroll through...

The latest iPod touch should work. I believe it uses iAP2 which, as I understand it, is compatible with the Uconnect.

Absolutely! My 2017 RAM had one in the armrest that was connected to the Uconnect. However, this was the 60/40 bench front seat. I now have the bucket seats. I don't know if this makes any difference. Does the 2019 RAM with the 60/40 bench seat have a USB that connects to Uconnect?

I found this Apple compatibility list from GM. I assume it would be the same for FCA since it is an Apple change from iAP1 to iAP2. I believe iAP stands for iPod Accessory Protocol the number is the version.
