Yes, 4 hours. Dealer told me it was spec'd as a 2 day job as well, to give themselves some leeway if things didn't go smoothly. He said realistically, they should be able to turn it around in a day. It's just the way some things go sometimes though, a 4 hour job could easily turn into a 4 day...
Dropped my truck off at the dealer yesterday for both the TRSCM and HPFP recalls and it took maybe 4 hours total.
I'm at 43k miles and this has been the most worry free vehicle I've owned so far.
If you can afford them, the Michelin Defenders are really hard to beat. They are my favorite street tire. I have them on my wife's vehicle.
I ended up getting rid of the Toyo OC3's for Falken Wildpeaks. I was really happy with the Toyos at first, but after a winter here, they had to go...
This exact thing happened to me, down to the 30 min drive to the dealer. Got a call that parts were available and they could complete the recall. I dropped the truck off only to be informed all parts were not available. Turned right around and went home.
A little bit.....frustrating.
I'm looking to replace my factory 22" rims with an 18" rim. The wheel I really want is the Black Rhino Chamber. The offset options are +12mm or -18mm. I want the wheel to be flush with the fender, an ever so slight aggressive stance. A tiny bit of poke would be ok, but not a lot.
I'm...
I've heard so many people complain about the road noise from KO2s, which is why I haven't ever tried them. As tough as we all think we are, 90% of our trucks are spending 90% of their time on the pavement. Finding the right balance between being tame enough on the street and aggressive enough...
I went back and forth on which tires to get for my stock 22s. To be quite honest, my 22" rims are probably the only thing on my truck that I don't absolutely love. They look nice, but given the choice, I would've gone with 20s or 18s so that I could have some more meat on my tires.
I wanted...
You mentioned in another thread that you saw a 3mpg loss. Is that the corrected number accounting for the larger tire size or just what the truck is saying?
I am in the exact same boat as you and just made a similar post a few days ago. '21 Limited w/ Air Suspension. Keeping suspension completely stock and I'm going to get Toyo OC ATIII's but I can't nail down a size.
A fourth size you could look at to further complicate things is the 305/45r22...
Really helpful, thank you. They look amazing on your truck.
You like how they perform, but how would you compare the ride to the stock Goodyears? I test drove a Limited with 20s and mine (22s) and the 20s rode a bit softer, more comfortable, which makes sense. I'm wondering if the 305s are...
I bought my '21 Limited a month ago. I've been reading over articles and searching forums for information on new AT tires. I had Falken Wildpeaks on my last car (SUV) and thought it was an excellent year round tire with everything I threw at it. I was going to get Wildpeaks again, but they...
The Limited comes with 20s or 22s. 285/45r22 is the stock tire size you're looking for with the 22s. There are a handful of AT's available at that size.
If you do indeed have 24" rims, those aren't factory.
