Very weird, isn’t it? I blurred out my address and full name from the letter, but it did not have my VIN, and the accompanying letter to send back had a 17 digit blank to write in my VIN, declare if I have had engine work done, towed a trailer, went off road etc. I’m sitting on it until I hear...
I looked around on here and hadn’t seen this yet. Has anyone received this letter from “FCA US LLC” regarding emissions testing on their 3.0? Easy way to make $500 and a free car wash? I think I’d have to ask for a comparable sized loaner if I’m out of a vehicle for more than a week. I have...
Everything seems to have gone well. I'm not sure how long it took, as I dropped it off on a Thursday evening after hours and picked it up on Saturday morning. The tech said it was the 4th recall pump swap they had done so far. Now, this easily could be my 46,000 mile old Falken Wildpeaks, but...
I called my dealer about the recall around Christmas time and they said they would put me on the list and get back with me when parts were available. Got a call this week and service scheduled for March 1st.
Not cool for the future, but at least we all have the engine we wanted right now. If i can pick up a Jeep Recon in 3 years for in-town driving and save the truck for out of town and trips to Menards, this EcoDiesel will last forever!
I fill up DEF at a CirckeK off the interstate in my area. It's they only pump in my city, but not out of the way from where I live. My last ~5gal fill in May was $21. I do remember filling once in 2020 for less than $15, so apparently DEF has been hit by the inflation bug, too. Have the jugs...
Any of you who have removed the rear seats think this JL Audio MicroSub+ might fit behind the rear drivers side? I have an EcoDiesel BigHorn and need a little more thump without taking up floor space under the seats. Got some free space back there without the eTorque battery but not sure how...
So I have a base 6-speaker EcoDiesel and the front door 6x9's were 4ohm. Direct swapped with Alpine Type-R 6x9's and they sound pretty nice. What sub did you add? Any pics of the install? I would also like a little more bass but don't want to sacrifice the rear floor space.
I finally made a decision here. After quite a bit of research I ended up going with the Alpine Type-R S69.2 set of 6x9s. Crutchfield said they were slightly too big to fit but they dropped in perfectly. Zero modification necessary. They sound really clear through a range of frequencies. Very...
You’re probably going to lose bass going even from the factory 6x9 to those Kickers. The infinity reference are 3ohm (have not heard them personally) and shouldn’t make too much volume difference. There are a few audio threads on here that you can follow. Crutchfield has a 60 day return policy...
I did car audio for years, like really loud competition stuff, although I’ve since tried to not modify my more expensive vehicles the past 10 years. I listen to a lot of jambands and have my kid in the car most the time. Def didn’t blow a speaker due to loud volume. You likely did not either...
My front left door is doing the exact same thing. Super buzzy. Doesn’t sound completely blown, but it’s not right. Currently deciding if I’m going to replace the front 6x9s with JL Audio, Kicker or Infinity Reference.
Falken Wildpeaks that come standard on the 4x4 North package, 26gal tank. This thing just cruises, man. My old 2011 hemi Grand Cherokee would have struggled to get 20 on this trip. (similar tires). Love this diesel.
