I’ve since added a shallow 12” and am now finishing installing 2 sundown 10’s. Seat lift, sound deadening etc. last night I ended up ordering an audio control lc7i setup from net audio ($400) so I can finally run both amps cleanly and easily. Hopefully I can get it working installed next week
I have the same box with Skars vd12d2. It sounded awesome until yesterday. I’m hoping I can fit a sundown sld 12” sub in it. It has about a 1/4 more mounting depth but can be mounted up against the box since there’s no vents in the magnet.
Hey. I want to upgrade my base 6 speaker system w/anc. I already have the anc bypassed. It’s tapped to for a hi input for my powered sub. After 2 years I want more. I’d like to get a 5 channel amp to power the front and rear speakers as well as a new sub. I have faitalpro 8ohm speakers in the...
I have the total flow. It was $100-$130. It sounds great. I sealed up the weep holes on my resonators. It’s deep on start up and mellows out. It has a decent rumble at cruising speed and sounds throaty wide open
They don’t care much these days as long as it passes emissions and there’s no check engine light. I had long tubes on my 07 f150 but they were catted. I passed every time I went to inspection in Randolph
I have a hemi. Not sure if the eco diesel has different speakers. I didn’t take any pictures of the install but I used a Rockville 10” powered sub off Amazon for $130. It’s not too shabby. I have it laying on angle on the hump under the seat and stuck some double sided Velcro and 2 screws into...
I bypassed the anc. Put better 8 ohm speakers in the dash. I used the speaker adapters from crutchfield and bass blockers. That was a huge improvement from stock. Added the powered sub a few days later. I want more out of my doors. The stock 6x9’s aren’t loud at all. I might try the power bass...
I use stuff you can buy at Walmart. Meguiars ultimate compound and polish. Turtle wax hyper foam wash and wax soap with a foam cannon. Microfiber mitt… did the 2 bucket method with dirt guards in the buckets. Used a clay bar mitt then polished the truck with a buffer. I used turtle wax ceramic...
Yea, it’s good stuff for the cost. I used the hybrid solutions ceramic spray just to see how it stacks up to the flex wax. I got my truck used about two years ago. The paint was hammered. So I Compounded it and polished. Finished it off with the flex wax. It lasted about a year with weekly Auto...
I gave it a much needed bath…power washed, Foam cannon, power washed, scrubbed, power washed, clayed, foam cannon, power washed, dried, polished, waxed with turtle wax ceramic spray… the paint had so many water spots and was rough to the touch… the clearcoat looked hazed over…washed and waxed...
