Liquid Glass is the best polish

I've been using Liquid Glass since early 2000. It was banned by C.A.R.B. a number of years ago. I bought a 4 pack several years ago, now I'm under 2 cans left. There's a similar one out, but haven't tried it yet. Sure will miss that smell when it's gone. This was my 2013 I sold after I bough...

    Best Wheel Size?

For your application, I'd stick with the stock offset because of the weight your moving, plus you tires will last longer and your front wheels won't fight each other. I'd keep the stock 20" and maybe a 33 or 34 tire. The 34 would protect your rims better.

2" lift kit only available for a v8 crew cab

I'm sure they're decent, maybe better, but could cause warranty issues. BTW, I think was wrong about the mopar kit coming with springs. The parts guy at roseville, told they did, but not sure if he really know. I'm kind of hoping mapar offers the 2" lift for my trunk because I think 2" would...

2" lift kit only available for a v8 crew cab

Since Ram's not on the ball here, I went to the parTs counter with the vin # of a offroad addition and compared the differences. So far the UCA is the same and the coil springs and shocks are different (F&R). Not sure about the rear suspension bars and the stability cntrl. So far for my v6 quad...

2" lift kit only available for a v8 crew cab

I considered some after market options, however they are a one size fits all. From what I've gathered, the factory ones are set up for the vehicle weight, plus they include the coil springs. that would be better spacers would limit the effective travel and wouldn't be as good. Plus the factory...

2" lift kit only available for a v8 crew cab

I have to say, the stock 4x4 is a little too low in the front for the sierra nevada winters and no factory lift kits available?. They make one for the v8 crew cab but neither quad cabs, v6 or v8. This ain't right. I understand they're trying to improve fuel economy, but to a point where a...

Pentastar Gen 4 vs Gen 5 Comparison:

My 2019 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Sport 4x4 v6 with 3.55s is just hitting about 425mi over about 15hr45min of drive time which averages 27mph and averaged 20.25mpg. Yesterday I drove up to Placerville from Fair Oaks in sac county, rose about 2200' plus ups and downs (to get my air bag software update...

    Pentastar V6--E85 Capability

Usually the epa part on the window would show mpg for both fuels. In the case of my 19 RAM gig Horn, it doesn't. Maybe FCA ought to keep a flex fuel option open on the future rams. Maybe the rise in compression ratio to 11.3:1 is a factor or maybe E85 was causing corrosion issues FCA didn't...

Pentastar Gen 4 vs Gen 5 Comparison:

I'll chime in with BlueStreak. My first RAM was a 2013 Trademan crew cab 3.6l 2wd, the first year. Right of the bat I noticed the smooth responsive torque that required very little throttle to go. Not sure what the axle ratio was, but if you weren't used to the throttle, it would delay then snap...

    3.6l E-Torque open discussions

Continental is a quality company, they make the best road bike tires with their black chile rubber compound. Grips well on wet roads. I'm hoping the 3.6l etorque system isn't riddled with issues. The postings don't look good for the hemi e-torque system. The Hemi etrorque is made by an Italian...

    3.6l E-Torque open discussions

I'm on my second pentastar Ram1500. Just sold my 2013 tradesman crew cab. Just bought a 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn Sport Quad Cab 4x4 e-torque pentastar 23Z package in billet silver metallic clearcoat. Has 3.55 gears with antislip differential, level 1 group with 20" chrome clad aluminum wheels...
