    Towing for the first time

I like to add two more thing with towing a UHual trailer...I speak from experience on these. I know they are supposed to check it before they go out of the yard, but do yourself and check the lug nut torque before towing it. I have had two lug nuts come off on a trip and the others were very...

Picking up our TT out of state - trip complete - thank you!

You will get a lot of tire suggestions for the camper, I know I did for mine. I went with Good Year Endurance tires on my trailer after years of thinking about it (and one nasty blowout that ripped the side of the trailer apart. So far, the Good Year tires (two years now and about 2000 miles)...

    Air bags and Hellwig?

Belvedere - Even though the small camper doesn't need WDH, you may want to consider one anyway. I tow a lot of stuff, including a small camper (single axle Wolf Pup) from time to time. While it doesn't need one like my larger Sunset Trail camper does, it really tows a lot smoother with one. I...

    Air bags and Hellwig?

I have both, and they both made a positive difference on my 2019 Rebel...different positive differences though. The AirLift 1000HD helped with the squat when towing heavy loads. The Hellwig helped with the rear end sway under load and without it. The Rebels are a little loose in the rear, as...

    Air Lift 1000HD Install

I have had zero issues with my air lift 1000 since install. I have used them quite often. I pump them up to 35psi when towing my larger camper and 25psi when hauling my utility trailer. when not towing, I put them to 5 psi.

Anyone have a SwingCase in their bed?

I like the one I have installed. A bit pricy, but good to hold my hitch ratchet straps and a few other things. The self tapping areas went right in through my spray in liner with no issues. I have heard some say that the mount broke with some heavy off-roading, but so far so good for me.

    Rebel Friends! Question

Stock 2019 Rebel…other than first trip home when tire pressure was way out of specs, no issues at all. Currently have 40k miles on it.

About to pull the trigger on a Travel Trailer - need some of your inputs to confirm my understanding....

I have very similar specs for my Rebel and my camper. I also seasonal camp in NC and only tow the camper a couple of times a year. Like me, you will be at the top of the envelope, and you will need to keep and eye on how loaded down you are to stay within limits. Your truck will have little...

    Using both WDH and airbags

For me, 35psi results in only a minor drop from the original height. When set at 35psi with the WDH hooked up, my truck sits very level.

    Using both WDH and airbags

I use a BlueOx Swaypro and Airlift 1000HD’s on my stock 2019 Rebel to tow my 7000lb 30 ft camper. I inflate the bags to 35psi and at 65mph, it tows great. Fuel mileage drops to about 9mpg on the Hemi 5.7, but the truck tows level, stable, within the limits and safe.

    Air Lift 1000HD Install

Wow...you did all this to put in the Airlift 1000HD’s? I didn’t remove anything on my stock Rebel. I just jacked up the truck as high as I could from under the hitch, folded the airbags like instructions said, zip tied them, and slide them in the coils springs. I inserted the cap, and air...

Installing Factory Trailer Brake Controller and DIY Software Update

New member here with a 2019 Rebel. Thanks to this post, I will be saving money I can put into a set of Timbrens or air bags. I haven't ordered the stuff to flash the system yet. Other than the FCA bypass piece, can someone post links to the items I would need to flash the system from an...
