Do not look at it as disappointed. The side steps are around $500. I got lucky and the dealer got me a set, but it is a great truck and look forward to it. Not sure what happened where they dropped then for the quad cab, but just move forward and enjoy the great truck. Just one of those...
2' Mammoth level strut top shims. Same as many others. Good quality. Front is at 39" to the fender lip. Rear is 39.25" to fender lip. About perfect. Rides same as stock. Time will tell. Eibach type adjustable struts is probably a better choice, but I had never had an issue with strut top...
One thing I would not do is find a dealer with RAM's in stock, take a look around at the open trucks or maybe a test drive and stuff one or more of them in your pocket. Do not do this ...
My 2022 RAM BackCountry quad cab. Dealer ordered and shipped to me the step bars as the truck did not arrive with them (no cost). It is leveled and has TRX wheels.
The TRX 1 license plate. Spring of 2021 I bought a TRX (at sticker). Within a week I heard of crazy prices being paid out west and overseas. I bought the TRX for $78k and put it on AutoTrader.com for $95k. Before I got the email from AutoTrader that my listing was active, I got a phone call...
Here is my BC where I added TRX wheels and Rebel style wheel flares. My step rails are on their way from the dealer (no cost - as they were suppose to come with the BC package - thank you Dan Cummins in KY). I have 1.5" level for the front end. I have installed them on 4 or 5 trucks over the...
I have leveled a number of RAM 1500 Bighorn or Rebel. A 1.5" or 2" strut top spacer gets it done and it is also best to buy the control arms that have the proper angle so that the ball joint does not wear from angle stress. Not hard to do. Just takes time and patience and moderate mechanical...
Picked up my red Back Country a few days ago. Yes, quad cab did or does not now come with the step bars, but the dealer is shipping me a set as all of the brochures, etc. have step bars in the BC edition package. I had bought and added the sport bar and at the time of this photo I installed...
The sales guy did not know the delivery tech had taken the steps out of the bed, so he thought they had to order them. They were there in the truck bed (covered as the truck comes with the tri fold bed cover)
