Ok so not to sound uneducated about bushings but the endlink bolted to the sway bar should be moving around the outside of the bushing right? Reason for the zerk fitting for greasing but the end link when I move the truck up and down seems to show the bushing moving around the bolt and the...
So I installed the core 4x4 rear end links this weekend but noticed after riding around for a day I heard some squeaking from the top bushing that’s bolted to the frame. Is there supposed to be a washer between the bushing and the frame? I also torqued them down to 65 ftlbs per core 4x4 but is...
Installed the core 4x4 rear end links. Question, do I need to also install a washer on the top bushing between the frame? I only did it on the side facing outward? No instructions came with the links.
I think I figured it out. The smaller sleeves that come with the hardware kit takes the smaller bolt which fits in with the welded frame nut. Only issue is I ordered the rear end links for a 6" lift which is what I have and they are 1 inch longer than the BDS rear end links that came with my...
I ordered the core 4x4 sway bar rear end links and I know that with the Ram 1500 the top bolt will need to use the nut welded to the frame. Since the core end links did not come with instructions. How do I know what sleeve to use? What's the easiest way to remove the sleeve it came with if I...
lol, I know. I am on a 6in BDS lift. So not sure if that makes a difference and on 285/55R22 LT 3 ply sidewall tires. not that 6H/5L was bad but I wanted to see if I could get a better plushier ride while on the roads here in FL and played with the settings a bit more. Plan was to knock it down...
Ok, so I tried something crazy. I went to 6 High and 1 Low and it works for me. Not too much body roll and just enough softness for everyday driving. Crazy how tunable these shocks are. :)
I’m surprised they replaced it. The new fix/tsb is to apply a special sealant around the top and side. Had that done on mine earlier this year and was past the 3 year warranty but covered by the rear window warranty extension. So far so good.
Just wanted to post for giggles. I had to rent a car for a longer trip this past weekend where I didn't know if my Ram would fit in certain areas. The rental car I was given was a 2025 Jetta. Could not believe how much better my Ram rode on my Fox DSC 2.5's compared to the jetta. I couldn't wait...
So drove it a few more days at 7H/5L. It’s it bit too stiff for my liking, dropped it back to 6H/5L. I may even try going back to
5H/4L just for kicks and see the difference then settle on one or the other.
I can't speak on the Accutune but heard getting the Fox's tuned to your specs and likes is most likely the way to go. I have just the basic just as they came from BDS\FOX and it works for me. I may send them to Accutune when it's time to service mine and just get them tuned. @boogielander...
