Nope. Download the current software to a thumb drive without unzipping the file. Put your truck in run mode and plug in the thumb drive to one of your USB ports. It should download and install automatically, usually only takes a few minutes.

I was literally about to purchase one of these today, but had some concerns about strapping it to the existing mirror (don’t want to lose side dimming mirrors, auto high beams, etc). How did you end up mounting it, and did you have any issues?

Alfaobd or JScan. VehConfig 1: Model Year This corrected the backup camera lines. I still haven’t figured out how to fix the zoom for the hitch camera, but I get by well enough without it.
