I didnt mark it, or grease it to be honest lol. it already had some grease there. kind of only fits one way. yes it's easy. cordless impact for the sway bar mount bolts and it can just swing down. then the driveshaft bolts come right out next and it drops out.
my junkyard one is still holding good at 50k+ miles, and thats with some snow plowing. yeah I know, not suppose to plow with a 1500. next time it breaks, I might look at a different type that uses a double cardan VS Rzeppa joint

I tried krytox, dropping headliner, adding foam insulation, etc etc etc.

I found these screws while checking things to be tight.
*note they were not tight, and I think this is by design so they can swivel.
anyway, I tightened them up, and noise got WAY...

re-torqued UCA, upper and lower balljoint, sway bars and links are also new
been going thru and trying to get rid of the clunk
also torqued the upper...
yone have a fix for headliner/pano sunroof rattle/click noise over bumps? Been battling for a while, trying different fixes. So far - lubes seals with crytox 205, dropped headliner numerous times to secure wiring, tighten speakers, added dynomat/foam around things that seemed loose and might...
button press + no LED -----did you try a different battery for heck of it? even though it read 3.0 volts, if its 3 years old, it might just be a weak battery.
