did you get the latest jscan update? I'm on iOS version. I basically did key off when prompted, opened and closed door for cluster to go dark, then put 4 way flashers on..took a few minutes and 5 digit pin popped up. I'll confirm, this is the same 5 digit fixed pin that the Autel KM100 had...

confirmed it works on 2500 and other Chrysler vehicles. still no go for a DT. I msg'd developer on Facebook last week and he said they are close, but still working on it.

on the UC4, you can open the back of the radio and unplug+remove the module. its screwed to the case and acts like a heatsink. problem is, the board also does GPS, so if you unplug it, you'll loose built in GPS as well. Haven't disected further to see if you could possibly just remove the SIM...

would definitely work. but if thats all your after, you can just get a fob for your truck that has the tailgate button. no extra wiring/work necessary. but for $15 and a little work, yeah can't really beat that.

I'll confirm km100 can program oem, aftermarket knock offs, and autel universal keys

no experience with the topdon tools, but have used the autel km100 several times and it pulls a pin and can add fob's easily

I'm on 36.9 also but I did my last update from a usb. I thought maybe I "broke the cycle" by doing a usb update, but I guess not since it seems the error 20 is happening to lots of vehicles.

mine has been failing also. I'm on version 39.6 currently, and that had to be done with a thumb drive. I wish I could just turn off the auto updates at this point
