Ram replaced the steering column in my 2021 Ram 1500 for the clicking issue and that solved the issue. It has been six months and it has been fine. I have been satisfied with the repair. Video of issue/sound:

That’s how mine started then it got way worst. They replaced the steering column in my truck and it’s been fine for about a week now

I just picked my truck up from the dealer today 1/20. They are claiming the whole steering column needs replaced. I find it odd on a 2 thousand mile truck that needs done but ok. If it fixes it I will be happy. Unfortunately the part is on back order and they cant give me an estimate on when.

I tried that the first few times that it happen and got out of the truck to try and hear. Seems to stay in the cab when happening and cannot hear it outside of the truck.
