I wrap fobs with tin foil to avert clone'g. I rarely use the fob to lock/unlock. I use passive entry upon getting in and always use the interior lock switch when exiting or otherwise. I also disabled the horn/lights so no one knows what I'm doing!

Bought my 19' in Feb 19'. Build date Dec 18'. No leak issues.

Sigma Kore did mine. I have the Sport Edition (painted bumpers) and Pano Moonroof. I had my 08' for 11 years, 200,000 miles. This is mostly my last truck..! : (

Since I had the costing done when new, there was little paint correction needed. That is were the cost comes in. More labor. I had the CP done. $900 Bucks flat. 5 yr warranty with a free re-coating every year for first 5yrs.

I had my 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie ceramic coated the first week I bought it. Two years later, it looks like I just waxed it everytime I wash it. So much easier to keep it clean. The best money I spent on a vehicle. Looks great!

Bought my Ram in Feb of 19'. A year later I had the remote start issue also. Ck'd everything, battery, no cel. I replaced the fob battery. No more issues! I figured the fob battery was weak or old and the signal from the fob wasn't strong enough to be picked up by the truck?

I don't remember who made them, but you can purchase battery operated w/remote stick-on style. About $400 plus.
