Just throwing my 2 cents in this thread. I have also encountered my android auto not working when it is hot in the truck. I living in central Texas and this summer I noticed that sometimes I would plug my phone into the USB hub to charge and use AA and nothing would happen. It seemed to work...
Does anyone know which Fuze the dimming mirror is. The Manuel is hot garbage in detailing such things.
Does anyone know the details of this function? My big horn had the driver and rear mirror with this and it seems to have stopped working. I tried looking for a fuse but there is none and...
If anybody knows the location of the inverter I would like to know.
I have 2019 with rambox and I found that the outlet the rambox has is pretty useless save for charging low end devices.
Small air pumps, vacuums or most other power tools its pretty useless.
Mine is always off 5-7 degrees if the truck has been sitting in the sun the temps could read as much as 20 off and take an unreasonable amount of time to get to the standard 5-7 off.
I have been to the dealership several times since last summer over this issue. They say all is normal. Unacceptable AC performance. Once it reaches the 80s and higher the AC can not cool the cab. Especially city driving.
As I was attempting to do this. I could not get the hose off. Its extremely snug on the fitting.
Any advice for getting it off without damaging the hose?
I know enough to do it I just wanted to make sure I knew what was in the hose. The AC works fine for people who have med to long drives. Not for me who has to drive a thousand different places 30 min or less from each other. Not acceptable.
I am going to do this. The AC is complete crap at low speeds for 20-30 min. I am not familiar with vehicle HVACs though. When I start removing hoses what is going to come out of them?
For me since the summer reached the 100's I have noticed the AC works pretty good if you are driving 15-20min or longer. The issue with my truck is it just can't cool the truck off in the middle of the day after the sun has beat down on it. I dont even use the remote start anymore it's pointless...
Great info everyone thank you but I have a question. If i splice into the wire in the kickpad in the cab will the installed bed light turn on everytime the cargo light does? That could get annoying since that light turns on at times I wouldn't even need it.
