Hit 100k on a trip through Colorado and New Mexico last week. Didn’t realize how dusty my truck was until I took this, but that marks 94k trouble free miles I’ve had my truck(aside from smacking skid plates and pinstriping the heck out of my paint).
If you look hard enough you can basically find all of the stuff to make this on your own. Front bumper, lights, snorkel, lift, tires, wheels, bed rack, rock sliders, it’s all out there, you just have to track it down.
When it comes time to replace the K02s I’m running right now I’m planning on moving up to 285/75/r18s on stock wheels so I’m definitely gonna go the Thuren route with the UCA. I want to keep the stock wheels and the Thurens seem like the best way to do that(I personally don’t want spacers)...
As @1BADRAMLIMITED said, the issue with the rubbing is the width of the tires(12.5 in) on stock wheels, not the diameter(35 in). If you want to keep the stock Rebel wheels without rubbing or running spacers there are multiple 35 inch tire sizes available that are narrower and will be fine on...
Yeah once you get east of Texas I honestly don’t know of any states with public land where there’s access to roads you can bomb down like that. There are some absolutely beautiful places you can get to by wheeling but it’s just a different type. I know there are definitely tight technical trails...
Unless y’all know something I don’t, good luck finding any high speed trails anywhere close to TN to stretch the legs on your Foxes. Those trails are tight. The issue with TX is everything is private land. I have a friend who did a trip to Big Bend earlier this year and said it was gorgeous with...
Looking good, you got the exact same size and tires I'm looking at getting when I upgrade mine, I'm team pizza cutter all the way. How are the K03s? I've got K02s right now and they've been great, but wanted to get an opinion on the K03s since they're "all new".
Love that size with the stock wheels, it makes the proportions look just about perfect to me. I think I’m gonna go with that size when I need new tires and just do suspension then.
I’ve been looking at the K03s as well, what load range are they? I know they’re a little limited on sizes/load...
A friend of mine with a Titan Pro-4x on 35s was there earlier this year and did some of the easier trails(Fins and Things, etc.) since he went out there I’ve started my list of places to hit when I’m out there. Right now it’s Onion Creek and Chicken Corners, it would be crazy if someone with a...
The 4 way hose is the way to go, I’ve been running mine for about 6 months now and it’s so convenient. Airs all 4 tires from 20 PSI to street pressures in about 6 minutes and then I’m good to go.
I also have the full RCI kit and it’s performed very well, I gave it a few scrapes this past weekend but nothing crazy. They’ve held up great though I’ve only had mine for about 4 months now.
For sure, when I eventually replace my bumper that’s probably going to be the route I go with as I also have tons of wildlife in my area as well. My plan at the moment is to wheel with the stock bumper and the Vice winch mount until I break the bumper and need to replace it, then I’ll go that route.
