Those are just the self proclaimed experts that hate their life as much as puck lifts. Don't pay them any mind. From what I've learned is 2.5 is the max puck to be used for cv angle and as far as brake lines being stretched out, I have a 2" body lift on top of a 2.5 puck lift with no stretched...
He's not lying. I wasted money on two intake (vararam and Mopar top mount) with no gains in hp or mpg. It looks nice though. I drop in filter will get the job done.
Joe Fox (fox acoustics) is local to me in Louisiana and has pretty good boxes that fit good too. That are not high end, but are priced really good and perform good. I think you will be happy.
