I second finding another dealer further away. I have a dealer that is relatively close by to where I live, but the sheer incompetence of their service department for even the minor things has led me to driving to a dealership on the other side of the city just to avoid potential future headaches.
Heated and cooled seats are not just available, but they're supposed to be standard with the Longhorns. I also did not see black seats as an option for the Longhorn when purchasing, nor have I ever seen a Longhorn with black seats. The only black will be the leather on the dash and the arm rest.
My truck had its window replaced and still leaks from the top. Just dropped it off at the dealership today and they are possibly suspecting the sharkfin antenna
I am inclined to agree, especially given that I have never heard of manufacturing defects not being covered under a standard 3 year factory warranty before.
I suppose we will see what they say about the damage done to my vehicle and this new also defective glass they put in.
Adding another rear window leak thread to the pile, though with a bit of a twist that I haven't seen in pre-existing threads.
Discovered a minor water leak in the rear window a couple weeks ago, which ended up being due to the seal failing. Took it to the dealership and they confirmed the leak...
i have a Thinkware U3000 for both front and rear. have had it for a couple years and no issues so far
in my previous 2 vehicles I had 2 channel blackvues which also didn't have any issues, though I do prefer the Thinkware app over the Blackvue app
for what its worth i did the update on Saturday and did not encounter any issues, aside from the temperature being replaced by a blue/red bar which resolved itself upon a couple restarts
interesting, i may have to give that a try in the future!
yeah the heated garage is definitely not doing any favors when it comes to corrosion, i've finally booked an appointment to get some honeyseal done when summer rolls around. luckily in alberta we don't have as big of a rust issue as...
yeah those mpgs on the previous truck definitely seem like theyre on the lower side. from the few times that i decided to reset the mpg counter before getting on a highway i was averaging 18-21 mpg going between 115-125 kmph, and my highways are also as flat as can be; however i am running the...
out of curiosity since you're canadian and mentioned living in a flat area, are you in alberta or saskatchewan? back when you were posting we were averaging -30 - -40 and only recently it has begun to warm up at around the same time you got this newer truck. i'd suspect that has a fair bit to do...
do you have power running boards? i've noticed that manually deploying them and shutting the truck off too quickly will result in the vehicle's electronics not properly turning off which kills the battery overnight.
averaging 11.8 mpg with -30 degree celsius weather the past 2 weeks. I have it in 4auto and also enjoy pressing the skinny pedal fairly often. I have been doing primarily city driving
mine is a longhorn that has the same 22" wheels that yours will have, but i specifically opted to not get the...
