Just wondering if anyone has done an aux battery delete yet on their 2025+. If so, what did you do with the sensor on the negative battery terminal and did you have to pull any fuses or other modifications?
So far it’s usually in the 13’s. The only time it would be 14-14.5v is after starting the truck and the charging system senses that the agm needs to be boosted due to the high discharge from starting.
A few weeks ago I had a Titan8 LTO lithium battery installed for my stereo system. So now my...
There is a post on Facebook about this today, and three different people have reported that they have three different release dates from s&b ranging from October to December.
If this is the kind of transparency to expect from them then I would skip buying from them. Just imagine if you had a...
I would like to gain control over the charging voltage so I can hold it at around 14 volts so I can add a lithium battery for my aftermarket stereo system.
Yeah there’s several ways to go about it. I would have needed two of those amps though, so the cost savings wouldn’t have been all that much. The Power 1500 dyno’d at a bit over 1900 watts rms. And I think those subs could actually take even more power.
Rockford Fosgate Power 1500 powering two Sundown Audio X8 v3 subs (the v4 is the current version…I didn’t go with those because they would require a bigger amp) along with an Audiocontrol LC2i pro LOC tapped into the factory sub which was completely disconnected. A Titan8 LTO battery for the...
I just had an amp, subs, audio control LOC, and lithium battery for the amp installed today. It hits really hard and loud. I left the stock speakers alone and on the stock HK amps, and they keep up with the bass just fine. I’m glad I didn’t opt to buy amps and new speakers for everything.
Did your P068A code go away on its own? I just had an amp, subs and secondary battery installed (for the amp) and I have this same code now. The shop said that it’ll go away on its own after a few drive cycles….hopefully they are right.
I already have the autostopeliminator…that’s not why I want to delete the aux battery. These aux batteries are junk and they go bad at random, and when they do they take the main battery with them. Dumbest design ever. They should have just went with one battery that has higher capacity and...
I’ve searched around to see if anyone has done this successfully yet to no avail. If there’s a known method to delete the aux battery can someone post it here or point me in the right direction?
