Putting the lock cylinder into the new glove box was a breeze just stick it in turn the cylinder and it’s locked in for good basically plastic clips it in place

Well I got it done I don’t think Ram ever intended for you to switch the lock cylinders seems to be designed as a one time fit once the cylinder is locked in. I had to destroy my old glove box. As the scews are located under the plastic front cover.

Thanks guys I managed to buy a new cabin air filter and replace the door. Didn't think to search cabin air filter. My only sticking point now is im not sure how to change the lock cylinder from my old door to my new door.

Bought my 19 ram used with 10 thousand miles on it glove box was all scratched up. I purcahsed a new one but i'm not sure how to unhook it. There appears to be tabs in the back that can be pushed in but im worried ill break the plastic.
