Seems like this could be a bit of a moving target too. 3 years ago the used vehicle inventory was way overpriced and new Rams were flying off the lots. Now both used and new vehicles are way over-inventoried. This affects prices pretty significantly, and we will have to how this changes if...
Hey guys- I have noticed recently (I’m pretty sure it didn’t use to do this) that my truck will blow cold air at startup. It could be 30 degrees outside with a cold motor, I’ll have the heat set to 70 or so. Usually it would wait till the motor got to about 140 degrees to start the bower...
Hey all,
Apologies if this has been asked before. Real quick: I have a 7 year 125k extended warranty on my 2022 Ram. It's got about 45k on the clock. When I take it to the dealer to get the oil changed (really just for documentation purposes) they'll always suggest things like the 4x4...
I dump the oil at 50% but don’t change the filter. It’s a little lazy but saves me having to soak the rack and it’s quick. Then I let the dealer do it at 5% or so because I need it for warranty.
Hi all, apologies if this has been asked before but couldn't find what I was looking for.
I have the truck in my signature, and my truck is just about due for tires. I am thinking I would like to go up a size or two as the stock tires leave quite a bit of space in the wheel well. I have never...
Did mine at 30. Jacked up the trans did not need to move the exhaust. Used a modified Allen and a box end wrench to tighten the drain plug between dump and fills. Torqued the new fill plug to spec on the bench before installing the pan.
I have the 6’4 bed and I wouldn’t want it any other way. I do a fair amount of truck stuff with my vehicle and haul things somewhat regularly. Helpful hint; you can haul several 2x4’s with the bed closed in the 6’4. Just put them diagonally.
IMO it depends on what you’re doing with the truck...
Ideally that is true. But the motor is not applying its force to something static. It turns when more as truck moves. If there is a defect in either the belt or the tensioner on that belt, you’ll more likely see it when it’s more difficult to turn the motor and move the truck than when it’s...
I think the belt should be able to take the output of the etorque motor and apply it to the snout too. But if it’s shredding then that’s clearly not happening. If there is an issue with the amount of tension or slip on the belt, you might be more likely to see it when there’s a load on the...
