thanks, I was wondering if THAT specific aftermarket fob is needed for jscan to work. Maybe I am overthinking it, a fob is a fob, it should talk to the truck the same way for it to be functional.
I learned about the jscan and bypass cable method for DIY key fob programming credited to @Jimmy07
now he mentioned an ebay fob that looks not so great in terms of build quality

can I use this one instead to do the program? or I have to buy specific...
Thank you for the pictures. I do want to question the front caliper bolt’s torque. It says 55 while the rear caliper bolt says 25. I snapped the front one by turning it the wrong direction, so I would hesitate to follow the 55. When I loosened it it was definitely more on the 25 side, not hard...
What is it?
I can find it to be 74-75 ft lb for the rear according to a video on YouTube and I did that.
I don’t know if the front caliper has the same torque? Right now I just did 75 and don’t want the bolt to back out.
The last gen seems to all have 130 instead. What’s everyone doing on this?
I seem to not able to find any videos on this, but the part is just outside of the reservoir. Should be easy to disconnect and connect?
Anyone got any tips/steps if you have done this?
I am replacing it because I got intermittent low fluid level warnings and it went away after a few secs.
I am suffering from screen freeze at start up. It freezes and then after a while, it works again.
Trying to see if a UConnect update will fix this problem for me. Is my version dated? Seems like the software version is not important and the app version is PR-39.6.0 followed by 20210405, which...
During this past winter, I have seen brake fluid level warning at start ups especially the morning. I checked the fluid level, and it seems normal.
The warning stays on for a few seconds, as soon as I start driving, it goes away.
Anybody has the same issue? I flushed the fluid about around 30K...
Thanks guys for your input, let me reciprocate with a good deal. Amazon has the best price for the Mopar friction modifier. $7.15 per bottle. Seems legit with 1400+ reviews. Cheaper than Summit or eBay or any dealership for sure.
I have heard about that too, while on YouTube everybody seems to fill till it drips...will that hurt? I can't imagine that if everybody is already doing the leaking out way
I have researched around this. It seems like most people go with Amsoil and may or may not add Mopar Friction Modifier. I have 3.92 ratio + LSD.
I am thinking: Redline 75w85 for the front (cheaper and easier to get than Mopar, exact weights as the manual), Valvoline 75w140 (cheaper than Mopar...
Right I have heard about that law.
Just wanna play safe, does the following wire harness make the installation easier and safer ( safer in terms of warranty claims)? Seems like customers claimed they dont need to cut into OEM wiring this way...
