It's been a few months now. So, are there any Tungsten owners on here? Thumbs up or down? I like to get the "macdaddy" but maybe the lowly Limited (no rambox) is better for me.
I moved this Cobia 277cc a couple of times with my 2019 Ram Limited 4X4. There is no way I would have towed regularly with it. That poor little 5.7L was not happy.
I have no ill will for Ram. Mine was a nice truck but I agree with the OP. The 5.7L was a gutless wonder. I swapped it for a Powerboost F150... A disaster. And then went to GMC it's everything my Ram Limited was plus.... 6.2l, Google based infotainment (no map updates to worry about) and...
This thread is a little stale but I owned a 2019 Ram Limited 4X4 eTorque which I traded for a 2021 F150 Platinum 4X4 Powerboost. The Ram was a better riding truck and the Powerboost was unreliable. I wanted to ditch it within 6 months but the stupid pandemic shortages, I couldn't lemon law it. I...
I've owned a number of Ram/Dodge trucks (last a 2019 Ram Limited) and was happy with them. I've owned more Ford F series and now my first ever GM. GMC Sierra Denali. Really happy with the GMC but I will check out the 2025 Ram hybrid when I get the urge to swap trucks again. I like the GMC Google...
I know. See #38
If you're rubbing at highway speeds (basically going straight with minimal steering input), you're gonna be rubbing like crazy turning into parking lots over curbs at normal height.
I guess I don't understand why you wouldn't want the truck to get a little better mpg in aero mode. Way back in the late 80's I had a Lincoln Mark VII that would lower at highway speeds. I know my 2019 Ram would go into aero and I had no reason or desire to disable it.
The 2025 Ram with the new engine will be worth a look for me. The only thing I was hoping for was turning the infotainment screen to landscape from portrait. Both my Ford and GM screens have been landscape after selling the 2019 Ram I had. I much prefer the landscape orientation. But, other than...
The 2024 isn't much of a refresh. All kinds of problems with the Powerboost not starting with "stop safely now" message. I owned a 2021 F150 Powerboost and it was the worst Ford I've owned. If I lose interest in my GMC I'll look at Ram again after the 2025 refresh with the new engine.
I was initially interested in the ev's but now, nope. Lack of actually working charging stations, battery life and what are we going to do with all these used up batteries. I'm now even turned off with hybrids, mostly with the terrible experience I had with my Powerboost F150. I'll stay ICE as...
