    Gas Mileage???

That is about what I get with my 5.7 etorque rebel at those speeds. Very disappointing. Don’t know how they can claim 19/18/22 when I can’t even get 17 at 60 on long back roads.

Ram CEO Claims That 1500 Customers Prefer the HEMI V8 Over the Hurricane I6

If they offer a 6.4 I hope it is a little up powered from the 2500 but even if not I would consider one without etorque over my etorgue 5.7 if it’s not over priced.

Ram CEO Claims That 1500 Customers Prefer the HEMI V8 Over the Hurricane I6

The article did say the hemi was 2.5 times the i6 sales. For whatever reason it is apparently more than twice as popular.

    Duratracs getting loud?

Nice report and thanks for the info! Looks like my number one choice at this point!

    DIY Tray

Nice! I have plans for something similar except two separate ones. So when you mounted the wheels did you line them up with the contours of the bed?

Long time Ram owner sold on the AMAZING F150 Powerboost

Nice truck. Ford definitely found a better solution than the POS etorque. You get basically nothing from the etorque except increased complexity. At least the ford actually has useable power from the in driveline motor.

    New to Uconn 5 8.4 in my 2022, what I don't like

I have never used usb for songs ,is that just one 2100 song playlist that you run consecutively through the entire list or can you compartmentalize it into files or folders?

    Fuel mileage while towing camper.

Google ram engineer describes etorque features. One of the odd features is that it will speed up the cooling fan when it has nothing else to do. Typically on the highway or long stretches of back roads? I do not believe he mentions if there is a temperature related reason so I was just asking...

I've come here to kick some .... tires!

    Exactly proving my statement.

I've come here to kick some .... tires!

Thanks for posting the obvious. Squat design is still the same, it is the reason the truck has a rake built into it. Doesn’t matter if it’s leafs, coils or water balloons the rake was built in to be able to use the truck for its designed purpose.

But most of the folks who level don’t do that. I don’t recall anyone lately asking about airbags for their leveling kit, they just want the leveling kit.

I've come here to kick some .... tires!

Yeah I know. I can see it for a sedan but nothing looks more ridiculous than a truck or wrangler with droopy drawers as soon as you put some weight in the back. Or hitch up to a trailer.

I've come here to kick some .... tires!

The squat is designed in and you should be level at max payload or max hitch weight, not already starting from a deficit. At least that’s my experience with leaf springs. If I load mine and it becomes level or less it’s time for air bags or stiffer springs.

Or don’t put a silly leveling kit on a truck.

Has anyone tried running a lithium battery under the hood in their 2025+?

Have you tried researching on some of the overlanding sites? Most of them have lithium house banks with dedicated chargers, mostly solar but some tied into the main for charging. Some do have lithium mains but I never read much into that as I just assumed it would be a problem I didn’t want to...
