I changed it with AlfaOBD using mph instead of km and it locked codes in the BCM and couldn't exceed 67 mph and Cruise was limited to 55mph. Dealer couldn't correct any of it. Only fix was a new BCM. Was probably all my fault for using mph numbers rather than the required km. Just a word...
It would be interesting to know if those Amazon covers actually disable the sensor. I tried similar covers that did not affect the sensors. I hope someone tries them and gives us a report.
You can't adjust the backup sensor sensitivity. Ranch Hand Grill Guard sells a disabling button that you put on the offending sensor/s. I use these buttons on my back bumper where I keep the hitch installed and on my front bumper with a grill guard.
