    Etorque Sensitivity

I suspect the loss of traction could also be from the factory tires. I test drove a few trucks back to back in the wet before buying mine and one had whatever they typically ship with from the factory and the traction control light was coming on while trying to pull out into traffic and get up...

    RHO CDI

I think the CDI is the employee pricing discount, please correct me if I'm wrong. If you didn't special order this truck I'd strongly recommend getting a quote from Mark Dodge as their regular pricing is typically FAR below any CDI or Employee discounts you would receive from your local dealer...

    Ram 1500 5700 E battery Voltage

The E Torque system runs at 13.4-13.6 on the gauge normally. Only the Non E torque trucks run 14+.

    The Poor Shifting Transmission Thread

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to bring this thread to the top again. I'm at 30k miles and now that the weather is heating up the harsh starting when moving from a stop as described in previous posts seems to be more common when hot. I'm unsure if this is due to the E torque programming...

    Ticking noise, 6000 Miles Hemi.

I'm commenting to follow this thread. I'm hoping they take care of you and fix everything 100% under warranty.

Anyone opt for the bench seat in the front instead of captain chairs?

As others have mentioned the Bench seat has significantly more knee room. If you sit in the buckets you will notice your knee sits against the center console. This can be a big issue for bigger taller guys. Personally I have the buckets but I know a few guys that seek out the bench seats for the...

Purchasing using an Employee Advantage Control Number

I second getting a quote from Mark Dodge as a baseline or comparison. Don't get taken advantage of by a shady dealership. If they are playing games with the prices walk away and spend your dollars at a dealer who is upfront and honest.

    Ram 1500 2023 etourque - junk

I have the E torque system and have had a few instances where either the belt is slipping or something is going on with the transmission when restarting from a stop. However this is not the first report of this issues with the E torque system. If you search through the forums there are other...

3.21 vs 3.92: The Last Word

I see we are doing our yearly thread revival of the 3.21 vs 3.92 a little early this year. Last year we made it until July. Good to see you all here again Ladies and Gentlemen. I agree after 26 pages this is highly debatable.

Best years for 5th gen? Looking to purchase

I have a 2023 with E torque and I wish I would have gotten a 2022 without E torque instead but the timing wasn't right. Another thing to consider is in 22.5+ they removed the rear reclining, rear heated, and rear air conditioned seats and the 4 way lumbar adjust on the driver and passenger seat...

    Gas pedal vibration on acceleration

I notice a slight Vibration on mine through the gas pedal if I have 4 wheel drive or 4 wheel auto engaged. In 2 wheel drive its smooth.

    Clock spring problems

I have a 2023 which shipped with a faulty clock spring from the factory. It was replaced at 3000 miles and I haven't had any issue since. I have almost 30000 miles now.

Transmission 'disengages' while stopped in Drive

I definitely agree with you, I think this is 100% a transmission problem.

Transmission 'disengages' while stopped in Drive

I'm glad your truck is working as intended. I wish our trucks could be without issues as well. I want to say the majority of the time the truck drives as it should. But I definitely don't think a grinding growling noise taking off from first and a harsh shift into a second where the growling...

Transmission 'disengages' while stopped in Drive

Let us know if it improves your situation. I'm still under the theory that when the engine is off during the start stop all the pressure bleeds off the transmission and it tries to engage the clutches with low pressure on take off causing the clutches to slip. I'm getting noise and a feeling...
