I might be off base here but I was under the assumption a large part of the tow rating was determined by the ability of the brakes and suspension to control a trailer under heavy braking more so than it was determined by the actual horsepower of the vehicle. If you look at horsepower and tow...
Listen guys, I'm sensitive over your lack of sensitivity towards each other here.
As far as the truck goes, I actually like the RHO idea. When I ordered my truck I considered getting a TRX however the price jump was too much for me. As much as I love the idea of the TRX I'm not sure how I feel...
I agree with this. Not specifically about the Hemi, but I recall seeing news articles along the lines of "Stellantis pays record fuel economy fines to EPA". I'd argue they understand what their customers want to the point in paying over a hundred million dollars in fines to continue to sell...
I agree that the RPM is relative to the speed. The amount of fuel your burning to maintain that 1600 however is a variable.
Another theory could be the amount of time the vehicle spends warming up. I think the engine runs on the rich side at start up until it reaches operating temperature.
I...
Denser air and more fuel also means more power, so you would use a proportionally lower throttle input to maintain your speed. I believe everything would be equal.
I would be more inclined to believe the decrease of temperature increases rolling resistance of the drive train.
When you installed the brackets did you finger tight all of the bolts before tightening them down? As you tighten the bolts it will pull the bracket. There is a tolerance on the bracket and on the bed. I wouldn't expect every bed to be identical. I believe the concern is without the brackets if...
I just wanted to weigh in. I have a 2023 that was built near the end of the production run with all the options except the hud and air suspension. I have aproximately 13k miles now. My turn signal mutli function switch wouldn't cancel my blinker when I received it new from the factory which was...
I took mine in for an oil change and they had the parts on hand and swapped it over. Everything is perfect now! I'm just glad everything went smoothly at the dealer.
My tint shop put 3M Ceramic 15% on the fronts. It looks like a close match but it's a little dark for me at night personally. If I could do it again I would have done 20% on the fronts. even if it wasn't a perfect match.
I agree with what the others have said, the factory windows are dyed...
I second the vote on checking with your dealer but I recall reading another thread where the user said he ultimately had to realign it himself. I agree with being upset over having the paint damaged. I wouldn't be worried about the cosmetic aspect as much as having exposed metal that could start...
I had the bumper completely covered and about an 8" strip across the front fenders and the hood. I believe my cost was $1200. You can see the line up close if you're looking for it. I've never had anyone else point out the PPF lines from the partials unless I specifically pointed it out.
I use Pennzoil ultra platinum with the mopar filter.
I would use the recommended oil that's on your fill cap for your model and year of truck. I've heard all sorts of competing theories on why you would want thicker or thinner oil.
My experience is anecdotal so take it for what its worth, but...
