So I had left it running by remote start when I started typing...noticed it shut off. Walked out there and started up...perfectly fine....so yes battery it is! Quick fix...
Good morning....Truck sat for a bout 3-4 days, went to start it and dead. Put a jump pack on it and got it going this morning, but now I have stability track and service trailer brake warnings in message center along with a solid engine light on and it won't show what transfer case is...
I drive lower miles, its a 3rd vehicle so pricing out 8 year 75k mile Maximum Care (comprehensive) plans with 200 deductible for Ram 1500, 2019, in new vehicle grace period:
Ziegler with promo code = $1,085
Warranty Direct = $1,335
Only adds were a 150 doc fee, registration and license, and the fricking super high tax of 9.3%. So for apples d to apples only thing to compare would be the extra 150.
So finally did pull the trigger, changed truck a bit from earlier post and didn’t get as far down as some in Texas but I’m in Seattle area and didn’t want to fly or drive far.
Financed through Chrysler, USAA 1,000 rebate
MSRP = 49,775
Price paid = 35,448
Total discount = 14,327
Feel good...
Many dealers make as much on financing a certain vehicle than they do the vehicle itself. Ask the employees...my bet is a local bank or credit union buys them all lunches on the weekend for taking business their way, and they jack the points up a bit to make more on it. That’s fine, it’s just...
Bad thing on People’s Republic of Cali is they if you pick up in the state I think you pay state sales tax, then your own states taxes....at least that was what I found when considering one. They had to deliver it to my state to avoid the CA tax.
I think they are just getting more aggressive to clearance out before they are sitting on 18s, 19s, and 20s....which will be soon. Ram probably gave them some program, but it seems to be in last few weeks only dealers are coming down thousands from where they were.
2019 New 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab 4x4
Add Trailer tow group, Level 2 equipment, 3.92 axle, and 5.7 Hemi
Sticker MSRP = 48,180
Negotiated price with USAA 1,000 rebate 34,000 plus 115 doc and registration/tax. Throwing in set of weather tech type mats as well.
So the catch I found was something I missed...it’s the big horn classic that is 16k off which apparently is the old body style 1/2 year change. The picture in the add did show an older body I thought it was an error. He told me around 12 off on the full 19s.
Ok...new to the forum. I saw a Woodhouse add for 16k off a big horn 49k down to 33k. I have bought from them before they were great and deliver for free. Looking at other prices this seems much much cheaper than many have paid....so asking what gives? I’ll give them a call tomorrow as really...
