    Well I traded her in..

5.7L was definitely faster when you get on it and the 8spd smoother. I'm sure weight and frontal surface area have alot to do with that. The f250 is no slouch, but I believe it's a full second slower in the 1/4. The 7.3L has it all over the 5.7L in trq, as it should due to the extra...

    Well I traded her in..

I did not, the direct injection and oil consumption issues steered me away from them.

    Well I traded her in..

Thanks. So far, thirsty. :ROFLMAO: She rides a bit rougher, but better than I expected and the 10spd (so far) has been really good. Not as smooth as the RAM's 8spd, but still very good.

    Well I traded her in..

After 5yrs and 79k miles I said good bye to my 1500 RAM Longhorn. Almost got alittle misty when I took her for that final drive, but it was time. After about 3-4 months of shopping everything from another RAM 1500/2500, Bronco (Full-size), F-150's, and SuperDuty's I ended up getting a F250...

    What are you towing?

Nice! I wanted to switch to one of those, but am worried that it cannot shift enough weight to the front. I'm probably sitting around 800-1000lb tongue weight.

    Remote Mount Oil Filter

Replaced my O-rings last week'ish. What a mess! Knock on wood, it seems to be ok now.

    Headlights question

My fogs are independent of the little spotlights, but come from the same housing.

    Bilstein 5100 Ride Quality

As mentioned above, basically remove, adjust, and reinstall. I'm not sure this can be accomplished on the truck.

    Expanded in floor storage?

I believe the Lockerdown safe is slightly bigger than the OEM plastic stuff.. but I believe they went out of business. I've been thinking about popping it out and expanding it.. I have a welder and my buddy has a plasma table and other metal fab tools. Though IIRC it installs from the inside...

    Remote Mount Oil Filter

I'm betting mine is the older style kit, whichever number that is. I've had it awhile now. It has to be 30k + miles if I had to guess. I know I installed it prior to my warranty expiring, and I'm coming up on 75k miles. It was not leaking at the last change and nothing made it to the ground.. I...

When to do transmission service ?

Yes, I did it myself the first time when replacing the pan. Followed many of the suggestions and videos linked on this site. This time I just plan to drain the pan and refil. Not swapping the filter this time as it's only been 10k miles.

    Remote Mount Oil Filter

Got my first couple drips from the PacBrake kit. Guessing it's the O-rings, seems to be the spot for them to leak from. Went ahead and ordered the ones referenced above. My next oil change will probably be in a week or two, so I'll replace them then.
