The wheels are Grid Offroad GD 8s in metallic dust with matte black. I didn't notice much of a mpg hit at all however I recalibrated the speedometer/shift points when I installed the larger tires.
Nope.....Bushwacker is still the only company that I am aware of who intends to release fender flares for the Rebel. When they are going to be available I don't know. Last I heard it was supposed to be sometime this month.
Yes, I have many rock chips on the bumper and skid plate. Just part of the price you pay for driving gravel and winter Canadian roads! I still haven't yet found a silver touch up paint to match the skip plate color. I'll have to try the RXF MannyHen recommended for the bumper.
While on the topic of the front bumper, has anybody found a black touch up paint that matches the OEM matte black color of the bumper? I tried a universal matte black but it was too matte.
Thanks for the compliment Ram Patriot!
To be honest, I prefer the Rebels without the black rocker panels. The glossy black of the rocker panels to me just doesn't seem to blend well with the matte black of the trim and bumpers.
Yes they are a bit pricey however the prices are in Canadian dollars. Being from PA your cost would be roughly 30% less not including what they are offering as a discount on the promo code. They are a quality product and I guess with quality comes cost.
Does anybody know the paint code of the Rebel front silver skid plate? An internet search couldn't find the answer. I thought it might be billet silver (PSC) however when I used that color to touch up some rock chips, the billet silver was darker in color and not a match.
