I didn't realize until at the dealership, but during this issue, I could not shift directly from drive mode to mode without first going to P first.
Sounds like they're holding lower gears longer because they can't shift out of 7/8 quickly/smoothly enough.... something I've noticed when trying to pass someone: floor the accelerator and zero response getting out of 7 or 8.
Same issue basically. It doesn't know what to cruise in so it doesn't know what to downshift into when you command it. I constantly have issues passing because the truck won't downshift when commanded.
I also noticed a low rpm shudder with the throttle open in higher gears around 1500rpm.
2025 3.0, 3100 miles same issue. Dealer owes me a wheel lug key so I'm be dropping it off to complain about this and get it documented.
The only hope for a fix is a large volume of complaints about the same issue. The least we'll get is software if enough of us complain. New transmission...
