I have 4wd and have learned to shift "slower" to avoid this.

2200 miles and 16.9 overall and it slowly keeps climbing and I drive faster than I should. Note: I use remote start very little, normally if I use it I am 1 minute or less from climbing into the truck.

I thought it was a gimmick but I am actually surprised how well it works. I have a 25 foot trailer to tow but have not towed it yet, I hope it works well on that also.

I just installed a Lomax a couple days ago, I am more impressed with the cover than I thought I would be, very simple and nice engineering. Appears to seal very well. The install could not have been easier, no adjusting it just fit perfect the first time!!

The new tailgate looks very impressive to me as far as the engineering goes. However, personally not sure I would benefit much from it, and also not sure I would like looking at the cut/split line in my tailgate. But still engineering wise this is much better than the new GM tailgate, and...

seriously though, the engine and tranny, and also rear end require a break in period, plus on top of that winter gas lowers your mileage by a noticeable amount. Be patient, this is a bad time of year to buy a new truck and expect good mileage right from the beginning.

I just spent a bunch of time researching this for myself. The reviews are so good on the Lomax that is what I just ordered.
