In the driveway in the PNW. The garage is my domain and that is where my woodshop is. Its my room to do whatever I want in there. When I do get a chance to spend time in there I normally just stand around with a game on TV drinking a beer and scratching my butt.
Just getting some all terrain tires would allow you to go cruise around the desert in the washes no problem. Not sure what part of So cal you are in, but Ocotillo Wells has a ton of areas that a stock truck is fine. Honestly, if you drive smart and know where to go, the stock tires may be fine...
I want to do this to mine. How much chrome can you see outlining the vinyl? My plan for now is to order replacement letters then paint to match, but the vinyl seems like a cheaper route.
If swapping out stock speakers with drop in replacements, does the ANC still work or does it have to be disabled? I have read that people disconnect it when upgrading speakers. Maybe that is only needed when adding a sub.
I am planning on ordering the black letters and paint to color match. I have seen others do it, but not sure what kind of prep was done. I plan to hit it with a little steel wool to rough the surface slightly.
