I have been noticing an exhaust smell inside the truck and was still getting surging at low rpm when cruising and noticed today the clamps on both turbos that connect the cats were totally loose. Maybe hand tight… probably been like that the whole time! I tightened them up and it seems good now.

Mine is still surging also! I definitely noticed the same thing when its cold it runs great! 40 degrees or higher it surges at 1000-2000 rpm still. I’m starting to think i might replace the o2 sensors myself since ram doesn’t know what’s going on.

It had the oct 8th update. It fixed the cold start misfire but the light throttle sputter is still there

Just light throttle. Runs good on hard acceleration

Mine is also sputtering around 2000 rpm now after the update..

Yup they flashed the pcm and ignition control module per the tsb. I think it said trucks built before 8/24

Got the update last Tuesday and it seems fixed now. Cold start is smooth now and no more stumbling around 1000-2000 rpm

I waited while they did it. Only took 30 minutes

Mine misfires at cold start and when driving with light throttle around 1000-2000 rpm but clears up and runs good with heavy throttle or after 2000 rpm. Pretty annoying for me because my whole drive to work is around 40mph so it does it pretty much the whole time unless I drive aggressively or...

I’ve been using 93. I think my issues started happening when i did the first fill up of 93 actually

At cold start it misfires but it’s most noticeable cruising around 40mph when rpms are at 1000-2000 rpm. It misfires and stutters but higher than 2000 rpm its fine…

Same misfire issues with mine. Still waiting on Ram for a fix. They definitely know about this problem but nothing is getting resolved

I’m still driving my truck that runs like crap waiting for a call from the dealer when they hear from star for a fix…. Doesn’t seem like they are making any progress. Probably because Stellantis layed off most of their engineers! Runs good in sport mode above 2000 rpm but under that it misfires..
