Have heard from several TRX folks on the TRX Forum that they wish they skipped the "rock rails" as part of their order because they are weak and not impact worthy.

I found a local fabrication shop to create a rock rail for the 5th Gen. What would be more desirable a frame-mounted option or a pinch seam/bolt mounted option?

Great question. I would think that if they were rivets or nutserts we would be able to tell as the rails would sit higher, these appear to be unconnected to the body. looking forward to hearing the answer.
